Long legs and the Realm of Why

Charlie at 33 months

Here is a picture of Charlie at 6 months old in the same chair!

I was taking this picture of Charlie's crown that Tom made for him out of the cardboard from his bowling set. He has been excited to wear it lately - even sporting it in the yard at times. When I was looking at the pictures I was shocked at how long his legs have gotten. He has really sprouted up this summer. Sometimes it takes a picture for me to notice.

We have officially entered the "Realm of Why" at our house! Wow! :) All the questions sure make me think about things more and also bring a smile to my face. It is really amazing how many times a little person can ask Why in one day! I remind myself that this is exactly what he is supposed to be doing right now. I am also reminded of how many times I asked why when I was little. Thanks for your patience Mom and Dad!

Here is a new pic of Edward chilling in his pack and play. It was so cute I looked over and he had these rings on both of his feet and was kicking very enthusiastically. This week he is starting to rock back and forth briefly on his hands and knees. He already gets around quite a bit by creeping and rolling. Full blown crawling is now on the radar. Yikes!

Tonight is Wed. which is one of Charlie's and I am sure soon to be Edward's favorite nights. Aunt Sara comes over to have dinner with us and watch the boys every Wed. night. We are so lucky to see her so often and have her help.
Here is a pic taken last Wed. When we got home they were reading books and telling stories. Charlie loves to hear stories about when we were little and listens intently to as many as we are willing to share. He also then tells a story which is usually his own version of one of the stories that Tom, Sara or I have shared with him.
