Last year Charlie and I went to Toddler Trails a program at a local nature center that is for kids 18 mo - 3 years old until Jan when I was too big pregnant (and tired). We finally got back there this past week and met our friend Magnolia there. It was fun to see the change in Charlie. The first time that we went he was interested but often wandered off ahead of the group or stopped a long time to look at things. This time, he was right next to Miss Stephanie taking it all in. They do a great job with this program. They have stories, songs, snacks, tactile examples and a nature walk. The skeeters were too bad so we just took a short hike in the immediate gardens near the main building. Edward got a kick out of the songs and book as well.
